After migrate my NIM Server to another box and change the hostname when I tried make something on NIM Master/Server I received this message:
0042-012 nim: this command may only be executed on a
NIM master
To make work again I move the /etc/niminfo to /etc/niminfo.orig and rebuild the /etc/niminfo using the smitty
# mv /etc/niminfo /etc/niminfo.orig
# smitty nim_admin
Rebuild the niminfo File on the Master
